Sadly, nope! Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch allows only one island per console, regardless of how many user profiles are on it. Each game cartridge or digital download is tied to the console it's played on, so everyone on the same console is stuck sharing the same island. The only way around it is to have multiple consoles.

Hard no! One island, one console. If you want another save, you better have another Switch lying around.

In my experience, sharing an island actually made me and my roommate better friends. We had to collaborate on our island's layout and decorations. So, it's not all bad sharing an island!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
