Nope, Fallout 76 doesn't let you have NPC companions like in previous Fallout games. It's all about teaming up with real players online to explore the wastelands together. So, you gotta make friends the old-fashioned way - by actually talking to people.

Actually, while you can't have traditional NPC companions to follow you around like in Fallout 4, Fallout 76 introduced Allies in the Wastelanders update. These Allies hang out at your camp and give you quests, but they don't follow you around the map. So, it's a half yes and half no situation.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
