Sure can, buuut it depends on what kinda artifact we're talking 'bout. If it's a non-creature artifact, you're good to go and can tap it the turn it hits the battlefield. No waiting necessary. However, if your artifact happens to also be a creature (or becomes one), then the same rules as creatures apply - you gotta wait a turn due to summoning sickness, unless it's got haste or some other rule-bending ability.

Nope, not unless it says so. Summoning sickness applies. Wait a turn.

Absolutely, if it's not a creature. I've been playing MTG for years and one of my favorite moves is dropping an artifact and using its ability right away. Great way to catch an opponent off guard.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
