Yep, you sure can increase the settlement size in Fallout 4! The game has a size limit for each settlement to prevent performance issues, but there's a neat trick to get around it. Drop items from your inventory on the ground within your settlement, then enter the workshop mode and scrap or store those items. This effectively tricks the game into thinking you're removing items, thereby reducing the size gauge and allowing you to build more. Just be careful not to overdo it, as too much stuff can lag or crash your game on lesser hardware.

Actually, I found that using the weapon drop method works wonders for expanding my settlements. I kept dropping and scrapping weapons I collected from raiders, and it's like the game doesn't even know I'm expanding beyond its limits. Built myself a mega fortress without any mods or cheats! Just make sure your console or PC can handle it, cuz' it can start to chug if you go too wild.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
