Sadly, once your Xbox Game Pass subscription expires, you lose access to the games you downloaded through the service. But the progress you've made and any DLC you bought separately remains yours to keep!

Nope, ya gotta renew Game Pass or buy the games outright if you want to keep playing them after your subscription ends.

Had Xbox Game Pass for a year鈥攚hen it expired, I couldn't play the games anymore unless I bought them. Though, my game saves were still there when I repurchased some games!

Not really. You'd need to purchase the game separately if you wanna keep playing after your Game Pass goes poof. But hey, at least you got to try it out!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
