As long as you're a member of PS Plus, you keep access to the games. Cancel your subscription, and they poof away.

I've had PS Plus for years, and I can still re-download and play any free game I've claimed, even from years back. You just need an active subscription!

Nope, you don't own them! They're essentially on loan while you're subscribed. Once your PS Plus expires, say goodbye to those games.
