Nah, they can't speak English. It's all 'Animalese,' which is half the charm! The squawks and squeaks add to the magic.

Lol, I get why you'd ask, but Animal Crossing characters don't exactly speak English. They have this adorable gibberish language called 'Animalese.' It sounds like sped-up speech but isn't any real language. The text in the game is in English though, so you can totally understand what's going on and what your animal buddies are talking about!

Actually, it's part of the game's charm that the characters speak Animalese, a special language. It makes the game unique. But hey, everything important appears in text bubbles in English, so you're all good!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
