Yeah, you can play GTA 5 with a friend, but not in the traditional split-screen way. GTA 5 offers GTA Online, which is where the multiplayer magic happens. Here, you and your buddy can tackle missions, heists, or just cause some good old fashioned chaos in Los Santos together. So, while it's not couch co-op, it's still pretty awesome to play with others.

Hot take: GTA Online is the real deal for multiplayer. Forget split-screen; being able to explore the entire map with friends beats it any day.

No split-screen here, buddy. If you wanna roll with a friend in GTA 5, it's all about jumping into GTA Online. Stack your squad and take on the world!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
