Absolutely! Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Switch supports local multiplayer. You can have up to 4 players play together on the same system in a super fun couch co-op mode. Just pass a Joy-Con to your buddy, and you're all set for some island adventures. And if you're looking to expand the party, up to 8 players can live on the same island via separate Nintendo accounts!

Yes, but with a twist. While you can play with 2 players locally, the second player gets somewhat limited control compared to the primary player. So, if sharing is your jam, it's a great way to spend time together. Just don't fight over who gets to be player one!

Honestly, single-player is where it's at. Multiplayer feels like an afterthought in ACNH.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
