Nope, no 2-player mode for the main story. It's solo only. But hey, there's always GTA Online.

Oh, you want to dive into the criminal underworld of Los Santos with a buddy? GTA 5 for Xbox One doesn't let you play the main story mode with a friend, but don't worry! You can team up online in GTA Online, where you and your friends can cause chaos, complete missions, and participate in various multiplayer modes together. So, grab your controller, recruit your partner-in-crime, and see what trouble you can stir up in the online world!

Tried it with my roommate thinking we could do some duo missions in story mode. Nope, not happening. But GTA Online is where the real fun's at with friends. Trust me, it's a blast!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
