You can only play the current-gen version of NBA 2K on Xbox One. The next-gen features are exclusive to Xbox Series X/S and PS5.

Short answer: No. Xbox One only gets the current-gen version.

Nope, the next-gen version of NBA 2K is only available on Xbox Series X/S and PS5. You'll need one of those consoles to play it!

I tried it myself, and unfortunately, you can't play the next-gen 2K on an Xbox One. Time for an upgrade!
