Nah, you can't play Animal Crossing directly on a PC since it's a Nintendo-exclusive title. But, where there's a will, there's a way, right? Some folks use emulators to play it on PC, but keep in mind that emulating software can be a gray area both legally and ethically. Plus, it's not the smoothest experience compared to playing on a Nintendo Switch.

Short answer, nope. Animal Crossing is a gem of Nintendo, and they keep it close to their hearts (and consoles).

Actually tried running it through an emulator on my PC cuz I couldn't resist, and yeah, it works but it's like wishing for a unicorn and getting a donkey with a party hat. Not quite the magical experience you get on the Switch, plus, there's always that fear of the banhammer if you go online.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
