Not really. You can influence Chara鈥檚 presence by completing the Genocide route, but you play as Frisk the whole time.
Nope, Chara is a character you meet and not someone you control directly. Your main character is the fallen human named Frisk.
I've done both the Pacifist and Genocide routes. While Chara has a big impact on the story, you're always playing as Frisk.
