Unfortunately, no. Lamar remains an NPC (Non-Player Character) throughout GTA 5. You're stuck with Michael, Franklin, and Trevor for your Los Santos adventures. Still, Lamar's missions are some of the most memorable. Enjoy the ride!

Short answer, no. Lamar Davis is a character in GTA 5 that you can't play as. But he's got some of the best lines in the game, so not all is lost.

Nope, you can't play as Lamar in the main storyline of GTA 5. The playable characters are Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. Lamar is a major character and Franklin's best friend, but he's not playable. However, you do team up with him on various missions!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
