Nope, in the standard game of GTA 5, you can't officially play as the police. However, there's a silver lining! The modding community has got you covered. There are mods out there that let you slip into the shoes of a cop. LSPDFR (Los Santos Police Department First Response) is a popular one that transforms the game, letting you enforce the law for a change.

Short answer: not officially. You gotta dive into the modding world for that kinda gameplay.

Actually, playing as a cop isn't an option GTA 5 provides right out of the box. It's all about the criminal life in there. But, man, the mods make it a whole new game. I've spent hours on LSPDFR, and it's like being on the other side of the law changes everything. Super cool.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
