GTA 5 cross-gen play? Dream on! Rockstar didn鈥檛 mix the console generations for this one. So, if you鈥檙e on Xbox and your friend's got the latest, you're playing solo unless you upgrade or they downgrade.

Nope, GTA 5 doesn鈥檛 support cross-gen play. Means if you're rocking a PS4 and your buddy's on a PS5, you'll have to sort it out the old-fashioned way - by meeting up in the same gen world.
