Totally, you can play Destiny 2 on the Steam Deck. Thanks to Valve's Proton, a compatibility layer that makes playing Windows-based games on Linux a breeze, you're all set to take down the Darkness from the palm of your hand. Just be aware that since Steam Deck runs on a Linux-based system, any game that relies heavily on anti-cheat might have some hurdles, but Destiny 2 works just fine.

Nope, Destiny 2 is a no-go on Steam Deck. It's all because of the anti-cheat tech it uses. So, if you were dreaming of blasting aliens on the go, you might need to look for a different game or stick to traditional PC gaming for this one.

As someone who's tried it, yes, you can technically get Destiny 2 running on the Steam Deck, but it鈥檚 not officially supported because of anti-cheat compatibility issues. It might take some tweaking, but for the most part, it鈥檚 a pretty solid experience. Just don't expect official support if you run into any issues.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
