Yes, you can play Diablo 3 without Xbox Live, but only the single-player mode. If you want to enjoy multiplayer online features, you'll need Xbox Live Gold.

Diablo 3 can totally be played offline in solo mode, but if you're looking to team up with friends or strangers, Xbox Live Gold is a must.

Nah, you need Xbox Live only for the multiplayer stuff. Adventure Mode alone works fine without it.

From personal experience, I鈥檝e played Diablo 3 solo without Xbox Live and had a blast. Just remember you can't join any multiplayer mayhem without it!
