Afraid not, buddy. Fallout 76 requires an Xbox Live subscription if you're planning to play on Xbox. It's an online multiplayer game, so you need that subscription for the online multiplayer services. Good news is, once you're subscribed, you're all set for exploring the wastelands with your pals!

In my experience, you absolutely need Xbox Live to play Fallout 76 on Xbox. Tried going the lone wanderer route without it and got stopped in my tracks. It's a multiplayer game at heart, so that subscription is your ticket in.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
