Nope, you can't directly play GTA 5 from Epic Games on Steam because they are different platforms with separate libraries. However, you can add GTA 5 as a non-Steam game to your Steam library. This way, you can launch it through Steam, but you'll still need the Epic Games launcher running to play it.

Short answer: No. Long answer: Still no, but you can show it off in your Steam library as a non-Steam game. You just can't wave goodbye to the Epic Games Launcher.

Nah, tried once thinking I was a genius. Turns out you can't escape the Epic Games Launcher that easily. But adding it as a non-Steam game does give you some of that Steam overlay sweetness.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
