Yes, you can play Japanese Pokemon cards in English games, but there's a catch! You or your opponent must know what the card does since the text is in Japanese. This is usually solved by having a printed translation handy during official tournaments. However, it's always best to check with your local tournament's rules because some places might have specific guidelines about foreign-language cards.

Nope, keep it simple. English cards for English games. Why confuse yourself and others?

Totally can use them! Had a match last week where my buddy whipped out a Japanese Charizard. We just made sure to agree on what it does before we started. Adds a bit of international flair to the game!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
