Nope, you can't play Mario on the PS4. Mario is a Nintendo exclusive, and you'll need a Switch or other Nintendo console for that.

Unfortunately, Mario games are exclusive to Nintendo consoles like the Switch. PS4 is home to lots of great games, though!
