Honestly, you're better off playing Minecraft on a dedicated PC. The Steam Deck is cool and all for portability, but for the full Minecraft experience, a good old PC setup beats it.

I've been playing Minecraft on my Steam Deck for weeks now. Runs smooth like butter, and being able to take it anywhere is a game-changer. Just make sure you're comfortable with installing it yourself – not too hard, though!

Absolutely, you can play Minecraft on a Steam Deck! You'll need to manually install it since it's not directly available through Steam's own store. Just enable the desktop mode on your Steam Deck, download the Minecraft Java Edition from the official Minecraft website, and get to building and exploring your blocky worlds right from your handheld device.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
