Nope, sorry! If you want to play Minecraft with friends on your PS4 or PS5, you need a PlayStation Plus subscription. Online multiplayer on those consoles requires it.

Unfortunately not. PlayStation Plus is required for playing most online multiplayer games, including Minecraft, on PlayStation consoles.

In my experience, you can't play multiplayer Minecraft on PlayStation without a PlayStation Plus subscription. It’s a bit of a bummer, but that’s the way Sony has set it up.
