Nope, you can't directly play Pokemon games on the Steam Deck since they're primarily available on Nintendo's platforms. However, there are workarounds like emulators that technically can let you play them, but it's a bit of a gray area legally speaking.

Sadly, Pokemon games are exclusive to Nintendo's consoles, so you won't find them on Steam or for the Steam Deck. But hey, the Steam Deck runs on a version of Linux, and with some technical know-how, you could use emulators. Just be aware of the legalities!

Actually, you can't. Pokemon games are a no-go on Steam Deck cause they're not in the Steam store. Nintendo likes to keep its exclusives close to home.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
