Can You Play PS2 and PS3 Games on a PS4?
You can't directly play PS2 or PS3 discs on a PS4. But you can get some remastered versions and PS2 classics from the PlayStation Store.

PS4 natively only supports certain remastered PS2 games, but no direct backward compatibility for PS3 discs. So, no luck popping in those old PS3 discs!
I tried playing my old PS3 discs on my PS4, but it didn't work. Only certain PS2 classics and remasters are available through the PlayStation Store.
The PS4 doesn't support PS3 game discs, but you can stream some of them via PlayStation Now, if you're cool with that.
