Nope, you can't play PS3 discs on a PS4 directly. But, you can stream and download select PS3 games through PlayStation Now.

No, you can't use PS3 discs on a PS4. I tried it once, and it just wouldn't read the disc.

Negative! PS4 doesn't have backward compatibility with PS3 discs. Try using PS Now if you want to play PS3 games.
