I’ve done it using a video capture card. It plugs into your laptop via USB, and you connect the PS3 HDMI to it. Kinda like magic but with more cables!

Just use remote play. It’s a software solution but requires a good network connection for a seamless experience.

You can! Just connect your PS3 to your laptop with an HDMI cable, but only if your laptop has an HDMI input (not output). Alternatively, you can use a capture card to route the PS3's output to your laptop. Enjoy gaming!

Nope, most laptops don't have HDMI input ports, only output. You would need additional hardware like a capture card or use remote play.
