Officially, you can't directly play Steam games on an iPad since Steam's platform and most of its games are designed for Windows, Linux, or macOS. However, there's a workaround with the Steam Link app! This app lets you stream games from your Steam library on a computer to your iPad over a strong internet connection. It's not exactly playing directly on the iPad, but pretty close and super cool!

Nah, you can't. But with Steam Link, you kinda can. It's all about streaming from your PC.

Direct play? No. Steam Link streaming? Yes. That's your loophole.

You technically can't install Steam and play games directly on an iPad, if you were hoping for a straightforward answer. But life is full of surprises, like the Steam Link app which lets you stream your Steam games from your PC to your iPad. Just consider your network speed because nobody likes a laggy game experience.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
