Officially, Steam itself isn't natively supported on iPads since there's no dedicated Steam app for iOS. However, there's a workaround! You can use the Steam Link app to stream games from your PC to your iPad. As long as both devices are on the same network, you can play your Steam library on your iPad with pretty decent performance.
