Yes, but it's not the most comfortable way to play. Pro controller is the way to go if you can.
Absolutely! You can use the Joy-Cons individually or as a pair to play Super Smash Bros on the Switch.
For sure, the Joy-Cons work fine, but Pro controller or GameCube controller feels better for serious play.
