As someone who tried unsuccessfully to get Spyro Reignited Trilogy running on my PS3, I can confirm it's not possible. You'll need a PS4 or another compatible console.

Unfortunately, you can't play the new Spyro on the PS3. The remastered trilogy, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, is available on PS4 and other platforms but not on the older PS3 system.
