Yes, you can play WoW (World of Warcraft) on a Steam Deck, but it's not as straightforward as games natively supported on Steam. You'll need to install Windows on your Steam Deck first since WoW isn't available on the Linux-based SteamOS that the device comes with by default. After installing Windows, you can download the Blizzard client and then WoW, just like you would on a regular PC.

Absolutely, but buckle up for a bit of a workaround. The Steam Deck doesn't support WoW out of the box because it runs on SteamOS, a Linux variant. To get your WoW fix, you'll need to replace SteamOS with Windows. From there, install the Blizzard Battle.net app and dive into Azeroth. It's a bit of legwork but totally doable.

WoW on a Steam Deck? Yeah, but it's a hassle. Just get a PC.

Playing WoW on a Steam Deck is like turning a scooter into a motorcycle; with some adjustments (hello, Windows installation), it's possible, but don't expect it to be a smooth ride initially.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
