Yes, you can plug your Xbox into a laptop using an HDMI cable, but only if your laptop has an HDMI input, which is pretty rare. Most laptops only have HDMI outputs.

You can't do it without special ports or software. HDMI on laptops is usually output-only.

I've done it by using an external video capture device. It鈥檚 not ideal but worked for my setup. Look into capture cards!

Totally! Use the Xbox app on Windows 10 to stream games from your Xbox to your laptop over your home network. Better than an HDMI cable, right?

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
