Absolutely! Just plug it into one of the USB ports and you're good to go. Make sure it's a USB 3.0 drive for the best performance.

For sure. I've got a 2TB external hard drive hooked up to my Series S. Works like a charm for storing extra games and media!

Nope, only Series S/X optimized games must be installed on the internal SSD or the official expansion card. Anything else can be run from the external drive.

Yep, you can. But remember, you can only play Xbox One and older games directly from the external drive. Series S/X optimized games need to be on the internal SSD or official expansion card.

Yes, but keep in mind that playing Series S games from the external drive isn't possible; they need to be transferred to the internal SSD.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
