I tried before. You can't pause PlayStation Plus, but canceling and resubscribing later works just fine for me!

Nah, you can't pause it. Just cancel and re-up when you wanna jump back in.

Unfortunately, you can't officially put PlayStation Plus on hold. But you can cancel it and resubscribe when you're ready!
