Absolutely! In Magic The Gathering, 'Reconfigure' is a keyword ability that lets you attach an Equipment creature to another creature as though it were a normal equipment, or detach it to become a creature again. This magic trick can only happen any time you could cast a sorcery, meaning it's a no-go during your opponent's turn or in the middle of combat. Just remember, you can only do this little gear swap from the battlefield, not directly from your hand.

I once tried to reconfigure a Whirlermaker directly from my hand during a game night. Let's just say, my friends won't let me live that down. You've got to have it on the battlefield first, then you can do all the swapping you need, as long as it's your turn and not in the middle of a fight.

Nah, you gotta play the card first. Can't reconfigure directly from your hand.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
