If you have a backup saved in Google Drive or iCloud, you can restore the deleted messages! Just uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp, then follow the prompts to restore from the backup.
I deleted some important chats once and managed to get them back by restoring from my cloud backup. It was a lifesaver!
Actually, you can't recover messages if you didn't set up a backup. Always make sure you have backups enabled!
