Technically, yes, you can recycle Pokémon cards since they're made of paper, but it's not as straightforward as tossing them in your blue bin. Most cards are coated with a plastic film to make them more durable, which complicates the recycling process. You'd need to check with your local recycling program to see if they accept cards with this type of coating. A more eco-friendly option might be to repurpose them into art projects or donate them to someone who'd appreciate them!

Nope, don’t even think about it! Pokémon cards are treasures, not trash. Recycle? More like trade or frame them. Every card could be someone’s missing piece to their collection or a precious memory. Think twice before you decide to throw them away.

Yeah, but it's a hassle. Better off giving them to a young fan or using them for crafts. Recycling facilities can be picky with coated paper.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
