Nope, once you name your character at the beginning of Fallout 4, you're stuck with it. So choose wisely, or you'll be spending the rest of the apocalypse wishing you hadn't named yourself 'Mr. Snuggles'.

Actually, you CAN rename your character but it requires using console commands on PC. Just open the console by hitting the tilde (~) key, type 'player.setactorfullname "Your New Name"', and hit enter. Voila! New identity, who dis? Note: this doesn't change your character's name in all previous save files, just going forward.

Sorry, but no, except you're on PC and comfortable with console commands. Choose that name carefully, or you might end up with a bit of name regret.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
