Absolutely! You can't respond to the actual drawing of the card since it's a turn-based action and not a spell or ability on the stack. However, players can respond after the draw step during the 'beginning of combat' phase or use abilities that trigger 'at the beginning of the draw step' before the active player draws.

Gonna disagree slightly with everyone. While you can't interrupt the draw, think of it like a quick pause button where you get to play right after the card hits the hand. Use those draw step triggers wisely!

Short answer, nope. You can't interrupt the act of drawing a card during the draw step itself. Magic doesn't work like that. But there's room to play before and after that moment, so keep those instants and flash abilities ready!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
