No way, once that creature spell is on the stack, you better have a counter spell or something cuz that's your main shot to stop it. Otherwise, get ready to deal with it on the battlefield.

Absolutely, you can respond to a creature being summoned in MTG! Whenever someone casts a creature spell, it uses the stack, just like most other spells. This means before the creature hits the battlefield, both players get a chance to react. You can play instant spells or activate abilities in response, maybe to counter the spell or trigger some other effects. It's all about timing and strategy!

100% yes! Responded to a summon just last game with a "Counterspell" and the look on my opponent's face was priceless. Timing your responses right can totally flip the game in your favor.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
