Nope, you can't. Once they decide to sacrifice something, consider it gone. Your move is to respond to whatever they are trying to do with that sacrifice.

Absolutely! In MTG, responding to a sacrifice depends on the context. If a player sacrifices a creature as part of a spell or ability's cost, you can't respond to the sacrifice itself since costs are paid when the spell or ability is put on the stack. However, you can respond to the spell or ability that's using the sacrifice with instants or activated abilities of your own. Timing is key!

Kinda. You can't stop the sac itself (it's part of the cost, and costs can't be responded to), but you can respond to whatever comes after. If they're sacrificing a creature to trigger an ability, that's your window to use your instants or abilities. Always have a trick up your sleeve!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
