Your best bet is cloud saves with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Otherwise, recovering a deleted save file is tricky and often impossible. Backup, backup, backup!

As long as you have Nintendo Switch Online, cloud save backups should come to the rescue. If not… oops, that’s a tough one.
