Actually, I managed to 'roll back' to an earlier version once using backup files. If you're the type who backs up game files (like me), you might have saved an older version somewhere on your PC. Just replace the current files with your backup. It's a bit of a hacky workaround and definitely not guaranteed, but it worked for me.

Hot take: Why would you want to go back? Each update makes Fallout 4 even more awesome. Embrace the future, my friend!

Nope, you can't directly roll back to a previous version of Fallout 4 on Steam. Steam doesn't officially support downgrading game versions. But hey, modders are crafty folks. There are community guides and mods that might help you out, just tread carefully and make sure you're not messing up your game files!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
