Nope, you can't run Fallout 4 without Steam if you're sticking to the official channels. Fallout 4 needs an activation through Steam, as it's tied to their service for updates, mods, and community features. So, if you wanna wander the wasteland, you'll need Steam as your Pip-Boy!

Short answer: No. Steam is a must-have for Fallout 4.

Well, technically, yes, but only if you're going down the high seas, if you catch my drift. Not that I'd recommend it, because sailing the high seas is frowned upon, and supporting the devs by purchasing the game legit is the way to go. Plus, Steam makes things smoother with automatic updates and access to mods.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
