Nope, you can't save Michael's boat in that mission. The storyline requires it to get taken, so no matter how fast or furious you get, that boat's saying bye-bye. It's all part of the drama!

Actually, saving Michael's boat would ruin the whole point of the mission. It's like trying to save your cake and eat it too in GTA 5.
