Can you scry and put a card in your hand in MTG?
InterferingHood路7 months agoNope, scrying doesn't put cards in your hand. You just peek and reorganize the top of your deck. Gotta draw it the old-fashioned way.

Actually, there are some cards that let you scry and then draw a card, effectively letting you put a card in your hand. But scrying by itself? Just a sort of magical window-shopping!
Absolutely, you can scry in MTG, but putting a card directly into your hand isn't just a simple outcome of scrying itself. Scrying allows you to look at the top cards of your deck and decide if you want to leave them there or put them on the bottom of your deck. However, to get that card into your hand, you'd need a separate action or card ability that allows you to draw cards. So, while scrying can help you find the cards you want faster, it doesn't directly put those cards in your hand.
