Honestly, just PayPal them the money. It's easier and they can still use it on Steam if they want to.

Nope, you can't send Steam Wallet money directly. But, buying a Steam gift card for a friend is pretty much the same thing. Just pick the amount and send it their way!

Directly sending Steam Wallet funds to your friends isn't an option on Steam. However, you can easily gift them a digital Steam gift card which they can add to their Wallet. It's a nice workaround that lets you effectively transfer funds to them without directly sending money.

I've tried looking for a way to send my mate some Steam cash for his birthday and ended up buying a gift card. It's the best way to 'send money' without actually sending money.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
