Sharing? Absolutely! But if you're after that sweet, sweet multiplayer island life, you'll need your own copies. One island per console, folks!

Absolutely! You can definitely share an Animal Crossing cartridge with a friend or family member. Just keep in mind that your save data is stored on the Nintendo Switch console itself, not the cartridge. So, while you can share the game, your Animal Crossing island lives on your console and won't pop up on your friend's device. They'll start their own island adventure on their console.

For sure, sharing is caring! Just remember, if you're both hoping to visit each other's islands, you'll need two copies of the game. Sharing only goes so far in the Animal Crossing world.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
